  • Overhead Crane Safety Train the Trainer Class - This course provides a train-the-trainer format specifically designed to provide employees with the tools to function safety within the requirements of OSHA's Overhead Cranes standard, 29 CFR 1910.179 (1). This Standard requires employers to comply with the manufacturer's specifications and limitations applicable to the operation of overhead cranes. Training for this course consists of both classroom and hands-on training for equipment specific functions in a comprehensive train the trainer format. Each trainee will be tested for knowledge and skills pertaining to the course material and equipment specifications. The course also provides specific workshops designed appropriately for trainers to transfer the knowledge to their selective employees.
  • The classroom will be at Alabama Technology Network on the Shoals campus at Northwest-Shoals Community College, Building 121, Room 151.  On May 2, the hands-on training be at Tri-Cities Manufacturing , Inc. (Tuscumbia).  We will have access to one of the overhead cranes for training purposes.
